Mucho Mas Media is a multimedia company that empowers and supports inclusive stories, filmmakers, and talent. MMM and its partners are focused on creating compelling, elevated, and high-concept content for Spanish audiences that have been underserved. Interns will be exposed to the development process at all stages and will have the opportunity to learn from all members of the creative team. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a creative environment as a valued member of the team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reading and evaluating scripts, books and article submissions, etc.
• Research on development projects, potential IP, etc.
• Create and maintain lists of actors, writers, and directors for current and future projects.
• Updating and maintaining project decks.
• Festival Tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Experience evaluating materials and/or writing coverage.
• Passion and focus on film making, television, and entertainment industry.
• Proficient in basic office programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Dropbox, etc).
• Team players with a no-task-is-too-small attitude.
• Must be comfortable working independently.
• Demonstrable understanding of Hispanic/ Latinx culture and audiences
• Plus: Fluent in Spanish
Please note that this is an unpaid internship. Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six months at time of application. Community College and Grad students are encouraged to apply.
Start/end dates and internship hours are flexible, but we do request that you are able to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week. Looking for interns to start in February and ideally work until the end of May.
