The Early Morning Quality Assurance Production Coordinator (5 am – 1 pm) handles QA across Viacom sites, apps and emerging platforms for premiere entertainment brands: Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, Paramount Network, CMT, TV Land, and LOGO TV. This role is a big part of the QA, Product Liaison & Support Requests team that ensures accurate availability of content and flawless playback of all products.
You will collaborate with the Production Assistant and be responsible for checking playback, availability, and metadata of new content programmed on apps and sites daily. You will also troubleshoot production errors and take initiative to connect with Tech for assistance with non-production errors.
Responsibilites:
• You will serve as the primary contact for all QA and production issues
• You will verify availability and playback of new content across our sites and apps for all brands
• You will confirm completion of daily QA checks by closing tasks assigned by other production teams
• You will keep track of long-term product bugs and fixes to ensure resolution
• You will ensure homepages follow programming schedules and brand-specific requests
• You will perform frequent checks of archived shows and associated site pages, ensuring generic copy is used and pages are linking to available content
• You will troubleshoot production issues daily and follow up on any site supports filed during early morning QA
• You will assist various production teams with programming upcoming content and site pages in testing environment
• You will support Supervising Producer in production tasks and project management
• You will remain up-to-date on version and functionality of all O&O’s (brand websites)
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of relevant experience (including internships)
Additional Qualifications
• You have a passion for entertainment, media, TV production, emerging platforms/apps
• You have experience with project management and/or content management software (JIRA)
• You are organized with the ability to balance multiple projects
• You are professional, self-motivated, results-oriented with a “can do” attitude
