This is a Full Time Job
This position is responsible for the recruitment and retention of all types of productions to Paramount production facilities with specific emphasis on strategic planning to increase sales tooversight of short-term (commercial, still photography, non-lot based television and features), Viacom (MTV, VH1, Spike, and Comedy Central) productions and all 3rd party editorial sales and services. The position oversees and is responsible primarily for the financial goals and revenue for New York Street and Lot Locations, and Editorial, specifically for offices, equipment, and services totaling approx. $10M in Revenue.
• Maximize studio group revenue from short term production by upselling additional location and service opportunities - $4M/year
• Liaise between production and Studio to ensure client service and satisfaction is a priority.
• Sales and Service for all Editorial 3rd party clients - $6M/year
• Cultivate relationships with feature and television producers, head of commercial production houses, freelance commercial producers and location managers to increase loyalty and drive repeat business.
• Conceive new “out-of-the-box” short-term stage opportunities (i.e. exclusive stage deal with commercial house or photographers, concert/stunt rehearsals, etc.)
• Manage sales and marketing of Paramount goods and services to short-term clients.
• Orient production management to Studio facilities and services. Promote use of Paramount Departments for all goods and services, thereby increasing revenue and achieving the group’s goals
• Organize location scouts with production companies and consult with Studio’s department heads to ensure all business and revenue opportunities for each client are captured.
• Scout facility with potential productions seeking appropriate space for stages, offices, editorial, storage, wardrobe, mill, parking
• Function as a trouble shooter and customer advocate to ensure the efficient execution of the client’s production
• Following completion of the customer’s shoot, investigate and resolve any issues arising from negative remarks regarding studio’s performance. Respond to client, informing them of the resolution and to ensure customer satisfaction
• Business lead for implementation of Xytech as scheduling and billing system. Train users in Xytech, handle concerns as appropriate. Develop all stage related Xytech training manuals. Prepare financial and utilization reports from Xytech.
• Maintain schedules for all production facilities. Distribute schedule to key Studio personnel including executives, Labor Relations, Security etc. Ensure that appropriate Paramount personnel are scheduled to support production activities.
• Facilitate maximum revenue by working closely with other studio entities to ensure effective scheduling of lot resources and services.
• Responsible for financial planning of revenue and expenses for New York Street and Lot Locations as well as short term stage projects. Ensure all budgets are met.
• Negotiate short term Stage, New York Street and Lot Location facility fees. Ensure completion of all required documentation (contracts, deposits, insurance certificates, credit accounts through account receivable).
• Prepare final cost estimates for all short term jobs. Monitor department billing to short term clients to ensure accuracy.
• Responsible for overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of ongoing production billing for all on lot shows
• Interfaces daily with production executives, acts as liaison between production and the studio
• Accountable for maintaining and driving the highest level of customer service and quality control
Basic Qualifications
• 8 years industry experience w/ Operations or Business Management.
• Extensive knowledge of the production process, including but not limited to single camera television, multip-camera television, features, commercials, music videos and special events.
• Bachelors Degree in related field.

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Xytech
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and set priorities
• Ability to define limits and firmly negotiate deal terms with client without undermining satisfaction
• Accessible to clients 24/7 as necessary
• Knowledge of union jurisdictions in relation to job duties and responsibilities
