This is a Full Time Job
MTV is looking for a new Coordinator to join our Music & Talent team! Reporting to MTV's Vice President, Music & Talent, this position will provide key support of the department and organization objectives.
Every member of the department plays an integral role in reimagining and establishing the music brand vision with our partners.
Responsibilities
include but not limited to:
• Support on all MTV tentpole events, specials and key series.
• Coordinate details for show producers and creative teams with logistics pertaining to show tapings and events as directed by the VP, Music & Talent.
• Collect promotional & production assets and information for tentpoles events, series & campaigns.
• Organize & distribute assets and information to internal and external teams for tentpole events, series & campaigns.
• Assist in creating global artist campaigns for key releases.
• Coordinate social initiatives for events and shows to ensure 360-degree coverage across MTV brand social platforms.
• Logistics liaison between production teams and artist management for tapings and events.
• Lead in ideation and securing talent for daily artist opportunities for MTV Brand Social initiatives.
• Secure talent for digital & social franchises.
• Secure talent for various internal event needs.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key members of the music and entertainment industry.
• Collaborate with MTV's social media team on music integration initiatives that span across MTV social brand platforms.
• Lead on all music festivals covered by MTV Brand Social throughout the year.
• On-site Point Of Contact at tapings and events as needed and directed by the VP, Music & Talent.
• Assist in managing the department intern.
• Keep track of multiple grids and production details for initiatives.
Qualifications:
• 3 years entertainment industry experience
• College degree (BA, BS)

• Great organizational and time-management skills
• Outstanding ability to interface with clients with authority and strong verbal communication skills
• Performs well and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Accurate, detail and dead-line oriented
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to complete tasks on time
• Must have an in-depth understanding of the millennial and Gen-Z generations
• Proven strong knowledge of television, all genres of music, pop-culture, and emerging trends from the past to the present
• Strong understanding of the MTV brand, programming, and creative reinvention

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 62,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement
