Madison Square Garden Event Presentation – Video Business Season 2024 – 2025 Student Associate

Who are we hiring?

This Student Associate will support the MSG Sports Event Presentation department with gameday video and content needs operations throughout the Knicks and Rangers seasons. This role is for a highly motivated individual with an excellent work ethic, knowledge of in-game entertainment, and a passion for sports.

What will you do?
• Assist department video managers in prep for the New York Knicks and New York Rangers games prior to and throughout the season. This includes last minute highlight videos, entertainment videos, edits to current elements, celeb clips, etc.
• Assist in researching new ideas for in-game videos, graphics, player info, and team history info.
• Digitize assets for both team’s video libraries.
• Help coordinate video content for any auxiliary events for the Event Presentation department.
• Collaborate on Fun Roll video and still graphic content creation and execution.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

What do you need to succeed?
• Strong creative skills and knowledge of entertainment/sports in a production setting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After FX).
• Experience with ENG or EFP video production shooting.
• Great ability to collaborate and work in a teamwork-based environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and on multiple projects.
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
• High level of professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to multitask.

Availability
• Must be available to work minimum of 21 hours/week (Monday – Friday) to maximum 35 hours/week from October to April.
• Located in New York City.

Hourly Pay Range

$22.50 — $28.50 USD
