Who are we hiring?
The Food Prep assists within the kitchen by preparing and assembling quality food for our guests. The Food Prep also assists with cleanliness of the kitchen a t all times.
What will you do?
• T he timely preparation and exhibition assembly of fresh quality hot and cold product
• Assists in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads and putting together entrees
• Must have the ability to utilize a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, assisting chefs and cools and following detailed recipe specifications while adhering to NYC Department of Health guidelines
• Ensures that food is stored properly
What do you need to succeed?
• Follow our safety guidelines and procedures.
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
• Must have a positive attitude and good team work ethic.
• Good communication skills
• A commitment to high-quality customer service and be able to handle the high-pressure environment.
• General knowledge of the NYC Department of Health’s rules and regulations
• Bilingual a plus.
Special Requirements
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.
