Who are we hiring:
During Arena events, the Chase Club Bartender provides beverage service to guests at bars and assists with any general event related guest inquiries. This individual exhibits a warm, friendly and professional demeanor at all times to further enhance the guest experience.
What will you do:
• Take accurate beverage order and prepare beverages in a timely and courteous manner, making recommendations as appropriate.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests, responsible for cash bag.
• Set up bar prior to event, maintain cleanliness of space during event and clean-up bar at event conclusion.
• Assist with daily/monthly physical inventory count.
• Address any guest questions or concerns, escalating to Supervisor as needed.
• Adhere to Department of Health food handling regulations and Company’s alcohol service guidelines.
• Position could be assigned to another area within Premium, as per Local 100 contract and call sheet order.
What Do You Need To Succeed?
• Previous bartending experience.
• Food & Beverage product knowledge.
• Proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively.
• Commitment to guest service and ability to handle a high-volume environment.
• Experience using POS system and handling cash
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
