Managing Producer, MS NOW Live Events
Job Description
Are you results driven, creative, flexible, highly organized, and passionate about event planning? Reporting to the Executive Producer of Live Events, the Managing Producer will oversee the day-to-day development, execution, and fulfillment of events. The Managing Producer will also be responsible for seamless coordination with the editorial team and its strategic cross-company partners, including the field operations, marketing, and legal teams. The role will take the lead on planning, site surveys and logistics, and budgeting.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Working with Executive Producer and Senior Producer to ensure successful planning and execution of live events
• Leading logistics planning for events, including scouting locations, budget planning, liaising on contracts
• Working with venues to build ticketing sites
• Owning production memos for each event
• Leading execution on activations, prints, and collateral on site at events
• Originating ideas and concepts for potential sponsorships, leading coordination to ensure deliverables for sponsorships are being met
• Identifying best strategies to execute ticketed events, and virtual events
Qualifications
• Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in event production
• Must have experience in location scouting, contracts, and budgeting large-scale events
• Must have thorough knowledge of current events, US politics

Additional Job Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
• Please note: this position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
