Motive Creative is a leading creative advertising agency specializing in AV and Social creative for Film, TV and Streaming. We're looking for a dynamic and committed AE to join our team and grow with us.
+ RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Offline media management, including: Importing/Exporting, Transcoding, Project Archiving, Project Transcription, Project Postings to Wiredrive, Aspera, Dropbox, PIX, Frame IO and more.
Online Prep, including: Overcutting, Creating Shot Lists, Sequence Organization, EDL, AAF and OMF Creation, Music Cue Sheet Creation, Online Conform, Final Deliverables (following client specific requirements), QCing.
Managing multiple project requests simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet delivery deadlines and upholding company creative and technical standards at all times.
+ WHAT YOU'LL BRING
A great attitude, with a willingness and ability to problem solve, troubleshoot and shift priorities with ease.
Proactive problem-solving and also the wisdom to know when to ask for help. You respect and rely on your teammates and know how important it is to communicate effectively and collaborate.
An immense attention to detail and a strong awareness that you are both the first and last port of call for sensitive material and quality control.
High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Suite, Compressor, DVD Studio Pro; expertise with Mac OS, and an ability to work with graphics, alpha channels, PSDs.
Familiarity with a multitude of different codecs, a deep understanding of exporting, transcoding video files and an ability to media manage and restore Premiere projects.
Understanding of various aspect ratios, title/action safe, frame rates, interlacing. Experience with NLEs such as Premiere and Avid. Experience with preparing sequences for finish (EDLs, OMFs, AAF, Autoduck).
Experience with various file transfer methods such as FTP, Aspera, Dropbox, PIX, Wiredrive. Willingness to assist in troubleshooting technical issues dealing with software & hardware, etc.
An ability to follow department protocols but also suggest and adapt to new workflows. Preferred but not required: a basic knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects.
