Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) is currently looking for skilled Medical Administrative Coordinators to join our Medical Review team in support of our Preferred Provider Network. These individuals are important elements in making sure our Participant's healthcare needs are met and will be responsible for processing referral requests, gathering medical documents from physicians for review, and preparing letters regarding the approval/denial of referrals, among other things.
For consideration, qualified candidates only, submit a letter of interest with resume and salary requirements.
Qualifications:
*Two years' experience in an administrative support role
*Experience in the medical and/or health insurance fields is highly preferred
*Intermediate or higher skills with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Clear and effective oral and written communication
*Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
*Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, follow tasks through to completion, and deal well with changing priorities
Your responsibilities would include:
*Process referral requests
*Prepare letters regarding the approval/denial of referrals
*Gather medical documents from physicians for review Receive fax/mail inquires
*Answer provider and participant referral inquiries by phone and email
*Review and correct returned mail
Submissions will be reviewed; only candidates most closely matching the requirements of the position will be contacted.
