We have an immediate opening for a skilled HR Generalist / Recruiter with broad HR savvy, solid technical skills, and a great team ethic to join our HR team. Broad recruiting experience in the areas of health insurance, technical, call center, administrative, and financial roles will help set you apart for this role.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* 4+ years recruiting with experience sourcing, assessing, screening, and placing candidates in a corporate work environment, including entry level, senior leadership and technical roles preferred
* Proven track record of sourcing passive candidates
* Recruiting experience in the health insurance industry preferred
* 4+ years' CA HR Generalist experience to include performance management, employee relations, and leaves of absences preferre
* Knowledge of FLSA, ADA, FMLA, CFRA,and related compliance required
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Strong problem solving and organizational skills
* Self-motivated, driven, solutions oriented, team player, who takes initiative, yet is flexible and thrives in a fast-paced, team environment
* Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees, while inspiring respect and credibility
* Working knowledge of HR disciplines other than recruiting
* Excellent attendance and reliability with the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
* Flexibility with schedule to meet the needs of applicants' availability.
* PHR, SHRM-CP or SPHR, SHRM-SCP certification a plus
Your responsibilities would include:
* Recruiting external talent from entry level to leadership, including technical, administrative, and call center positions
* Maintaining an active pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure staffing needs are met in higher turnover departments
* Creating up to date Job Descriptions by working closely with hiring managers to clearly identify job requirements and responsibilities
* Crafting compelling job postings
* Ensuring inclusive and timely communication with managers and candidates to ensure that managers are well informed, while supporting a positive, high touch applicant experience
* Providing Human Resources Generalist support as needed in the areas of onboarding, training and development, employee engagement events, and other related activities.
* Tracking metrics such as resume flow, applicants, source of new hires, etc. in order to cost effectively improve the sourcing of quality candidates and improve recruitment practices
* Make recommendations to improve the talent acquisition function such as appropriate applicant assessment tools; applicant assessment vendors; sourcing methods; job boards; career fairs, etc.
