Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plans (MPI) is seeking an HRIS Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team in Studio City. This onsite role will provide high-level executive administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), ensuring the HR leadership team stays focused on strategic priorities, and will assist with managing and optimizing our HR Information System (HRIS).
As the HRIS Administrative Assistant, you will be the anchor that keeps our fast-moving team focused on high impact work. Qualified candidates must have precise, detail-oriented organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and demonstrated technical proficiency. Successful candidates will also have the ability to manage multiple projects, exercising judgment on prioritizing tasks, and have experience managing heavy scheduling and administrative tasks.

What You Will Need:
5+ years’ experience as an administrative or executive assistant supporting senior leaders. Prior experience supporting the Human Resources function preferred.
2+ years’ hands-on experience with managing HRIS systems and reporting tools; experience with Ceridian Dayforce/Timekeeper strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
High integrity, with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion, maturity, and professionalism.
Ability to ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee data within the HRIS.
Skilled at prioritizing and managing time to meet defined goals.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
Strong customer service and administration skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Flexibility and ability to work extended hours when required.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Calendar and Inbox Management- Prioritize, schedule and optimize the CHRO’s calendar. Triage high-volume emails in the shared email inbox.
Confirm CHRO’s daily meeting schedule and ensure relevant materials are prepared.
Manage, track, and process all HR invoices and expenses, while monitoring and tracking the HR budget.
Provide general administrative support to the department, including recordkeeping, document management, and preparation of files for legal or storage needs.
Prepare employment verifications and letters as needed.
Efficiently coordinate interviews between candidates and interviewers within the organization.
Perform accurate and timely entry of all employee data in the HRIS system (Ceridian/Dayforce).
Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, tickets, and troubleshooting related to Dayforce self-service features and liaise with MPI’s IT or Dayforce support as necessary.
Assist with data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all HR modules, including assistance with implementation of new modules and system upgrades. Regularly review HR technology best practices and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
Assist in pulling data from Dayforce and preparing various reports as requested.
Support and coordination of onsite and offsite employee events including planning and onsite execution.
Prepares materials to support New Hire Orientation and employee training/education.
Assist with employee communications across multiple channels.
