Contracts Clerk 17.00/hour (Temp)
We are looking for an Employer Contracts Clerk (Temp) responsible for reviewing, processing and monitoring the various Collective Bargaining Agreements, side letter and non-affiliate agreements between employers and participating Motion Picture Industry labor unions. This position will assist in the preparation of existing hard copy Employer Files for the conversion to a digital format for long-term storage and retrieval.
Essential Duties and Functions:
Works under direction of Leads, Assistant Manager and Manager
Pull and review existing hard copy Employer files
Determine whether the Employer exists in the current digital system (aka WebXtender)
Organize each file by doc type
Add appropriate cover sheet for each section/doc type
Sort and alphabetize according to required scanning parameters
Additional clerical duties as determined within the scope of the scanning project
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of administrative work in an office environment (accounting firm, law office, or bank)
High school diploma or GED required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Adherence to confidentiality
Proficiency with data entry and typing speed of 45 wpm along with MS Office at basic level including Word, Outlook and Excel
Clear and effective oral and written communication
Ability to handle fast-paced work and meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize work, follow through to completion, and deal well with changing priorities
Ability to work overtime/extended hours as required
