Intern - Film Financing, Packaging and Sales

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Motion Picture Exchange is a worldwide entertainment company focusing on independent film financing, packaging and distribution. We also have an in-house marketing division, which services all editorial and graphic design for our films.

Our team has worked on such films as Aftermath (Ashley Greene, Shawn Ashmore), Percy vs. Goliath (Christopher Walken, Zach Braff, Christina Ricci) and Big Gold Brick (Oscar Isaac, Lucy Hale, Megan Fox).

You will deal directly with all tasks relating to domestic / international film sales and business with key distributors around the world. This position will be highly involved with all day to day activities including sales, marketing, acquisitions and festival prep.

All our interns are offered academic credit in addition to providing industry experience to ensure they get the most out of their internship and learn about the global distribution of feature films.

Duties will include:
-Working directly with the founding Partners.
-Managing and maintaining buyer databases
-Market research, and preparing and shipping packages.
-Coverage on scripts and completed films
-You will be an integral member of the team.

Requirements:
-Strong communication and computer skills
-Interest in film distribution
-A form of transportation to come into the office, although flexible with hybrid scheduling
-Be able to make a commitment of least 25 hours a week
