Production Accountant II

This is a Full Time Job

Commercial production company located in West Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Production Accountant for a full-time staff position. Duties of the position include maintenance and tracking of all Amex cards, code and prepare journal entries for all the expenses, compile digital backup for each expense, and monitor Amex spending. Audit all petty cash receipts for each production, follow up with crews as needed about expenses, prepare and post the petty cash journal entries to jobs. Additionally you will process the monthly bank reconciliations, assist with wrapping jobs, and provide occasional AP/AR support and special projects as needed.

Preferred qualifications:
2+ years in Commercial/TV/Film production accounting
Experience with high volume Amex statements
Proactive, detail oriented, and organized with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Willing to ask for help, ask questions, and possess common sense
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook. knowledge of MediaWeb is a plus
