Seeking a Full-time Public Relations Manager for well-established talent management company, Morse Artists, in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-Working closely with playlisters, editors, and bloggers to create and execute effective campaigns for talent.
-Responsible for coordinating all press, premieres, special events, and other press-related opportunities for talent.
-Help develop creative strategies and positioning for talent.
-Work closely with the Morse Artists team to create and maintain talent schedules, calendars, reports, and research documents related to PR campaigns.
-Write and edit press materials and releases.
Requirements:
-Strong passion for pop music and vast knowledge of current pop culture and music trends.
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
-A minimum of 4-5years relevant PR/communications experience
-Team player
-Excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with the media, management, talent and the general public.
-Excellent writing skills and press release distribution experience.
-Punctual, sense of urgency, detail-oriented
-Strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
-Good organizational and follow up skills
-The ability to work in high-pressure situations, deal with strong personalities and be flexible to change
-Deep understanding of the digital media space, with a specialization in social media platforms.
-Strong administrative skills including proficient typing and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Must have laptop and access to internet (position will be remote until Covid-19 restrictions are lifted)
Preferred:
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) a plus
