This is a Full Time Job
The Vice President, Suite Sales is responsible for leading a sales team of seven professionals to meet and exceed revenue goals from the sales of multi-year suite leases, annual contracts, single event rentals, and club memberships.

Responsibilities:
• Create and implement a suite sales strategy and business plan to exceed all revenue goals.
• Develop, manage, evaluate, and support all sales team members.
• Work with the Senior Vice President to assign and track annual individual revenue goals.
• Provide pricing recommendations for premium inventory and products.
• Propose a sales staff compensation plan to include commissions and bonuses targeted at hitting individual and department revenue goals, submitting monthly commission reports to payroll.
• Establish and maintain key customer relationships.
• Assist in forecasting and tracking budgetary needs to assist with sales initiatives.
• Provide staff with tools, marketing materials, and resources to support sales efforts.
• Monitor market for business industry trends and activities; create targets for prospecting.
• Develop proposals for sales staff's prospects incorporating research of industry trends, company dynamics, and understanding the potential partners' hospitality strategies.
• Support sales staff with prospecting, lead generation, pipeline, and database management.
• Build, and ensure accuracy of, sales reports using Salesforce to present to management.
• Understand and educate staff on sales processing procedures using CenPOS, Salesforce, and Docusign.
• Use Salesforce to oversee staff's management of client accounts: ownership, account history, and relevant client information.
• Provide structured follow up with staff with appropriate feedback and direction for development.
• Function as a team member, prioritize responsibilities, and take individual initiative.
• Make both in arena/event and office visits to clients.
• Act as Manger on Duty for assigned Washington Capitals, Wizards, and Georgetown University basketball games, concerts, and special events.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of sales leadership experience in a sports, entertainment, or hospitality business.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Preferred experience in Salesforce CRM and Archtics.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent people skills, with the ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with executive clients as well as internal and external clients at all levels.
• A proven track record of success building strong relationships with premium clients.
Pay Range: $160-175k USD.
