Position Overview: The Supervising Producer will oversee all network original, marketing, and partnership video content and programming production for Monumental Sports Network, and will manage all staff and crews assigned to those projects. Responsibilities will include creative oversight of projects, including development and research, casting, directing and field producing, post-producing and building network relationships. This role will act as Productions 'point person' on network projects, generating creative ways to build and grow the brand across linear and digital platforms, working in tandem with senior Productions team on long-form content.

Responsibilities:
• Lead development and production of unique and engaging original content and series for Monumental Sports Network.
• Oversee long-form content, marketing spots and branded content production for Monumental Sports Network.
• Manage staff and collaboratively work with Productions and Network teams, shifting seamlessly between management and hands-on production roles.
• Maintain a working knowledge of social/digital opportunities and streaming/DTC that target network audiences.
• Pitch/develop and be creative while working within budget, schedule, scope, and staffing constraints.
• Change directions between genres and production styles easily. For example, some shoots may require a doc or reality-style producing approach, while other projects may require an ENG sports approach.
• Work closely and maintain excellent client communication across team (Wizards, Capitals, Mystics) organizations, including Digital/Social, Public Relations, Marketing and Global Partnerships teams.
• Display willingness and ability to direct talent, players, and members of the community.
• Maintaining knowledge of camera, sound, editing, media management, and post process is a must.
• Manage staff and freelance crew as assigned.
• Track equipment and trends to make recommendations for future upgrades and replacements, with guidance of internal shooters and post teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 10 years experience in Productions, preferably in a leadership or senior role.
• Attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, follow-through, thinking ahead, problem-solving. Comfortable rapport with internal and external clients.
• ''Hands on'' production and a strong understanding of storytelling a must. A strong background in post-production as many projects come together in edit.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, ''on-call'' environment.
• Excellent writing skills a must.
• Ability to shoot and edit, and experience with Adobe Premiere a plus.
• Availability to maintain flexible, non-traditional hours with some travel necessary depending on production schedule and staffing needs.
• Sports experience is a plus. Strong production experience is crucial, as is a generous collaborative demeanor and spirit focused on content team's success over the individual.
Pay Range: $130-150k USD.
