Summer Paid Intern - Corporate Communications

This is a Full Time Paid Internship


The Corporate Communications Intern will support the Chief Administrative Officer & President of External Affairs and the communications team in crafting and delivering MSE’s messaging to internal and external audiences. This role works closely with marketing and communications teams across MSE’s brands.

Responsibilities:

Compile daily press clips.
Maintain departmental tracking grids (Editorial Calendar, Upcoming Conferences/Awards).
Use media tracking software to monitor and measure earned media activities.
Assist in research and drafting for press releases and advisories.
Edit web content and keep internal and external websites updated.
Organize and manage files within the shared department drive.
Provide support for games, concerts, and live events as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Related internships or college coursework in public relations, journalism, communications, or sports management.
Excellent writing skills and ability to produce long or short-form content.
Understanding of media relations and social media.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
Basic proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Knowledge of the sports business industry and relevant topics.
Understanding of MSE’s branding and messaging goals.
Pay Rate: $17.50 USD/hour.
