Senior Video Editor

The Supervising Editor is a high-level content creator in the MSE Productions department, crafting compelling visual narratives. The ideal candidate will lead project workflows, manage junior staff, and ensure high-quality output that aligns with the creative vision of Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE). The Supervising Editor will be a go-to resource for accomplishing video initiatives with the intention of driving MSE content forward.

Responsibilities:
• Work alongside Producers, Animators, and Graphic Designers to create high-quality, engaging content across platforms.
• Collaborate with MSE clients to implement video strategies to meet business goals.
• Edit short & long form content, sizzles, promos, high-energy montages, and docu-reality programming.
• Mentor and manage Junior Editors and Assistant Editors, fostering professional growth and enhancing editorial skills.
• Drive innovation by integrating new technologies into editorial workflows.
• Enhance video content using visual effects and compositing using the Adobe Creative Suite (keying, typography, animation, motion/camera tracking, and rotoscoping, etc.)
• Create high-quality projects incorporating motion graphics, color correction, sound mixing, and sound design.
• Adjust to constantly evolving production calendar, while working on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of content results.
• Help enforce editorial guidelines with freelancers and vendors to maintain consistent brand voice.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in production, film, media, communications, or related fields.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Premier. After Affects a plus.
• 10 years of work experience in related field with experience in Post Production, at a production company, broadcast network, or agency.
• Experience working in a sports organization and/or working on in-arena game presentation is a plus.
• Experience pitching and driving creative ideas for projects and prospective clients.
• Proven leadership skills including team building, mentoring and guiding creative talent.
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in visual, verbal, and written form to teams, clients and leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to positively work with a wide variety of professional staff from varied subject areas and backgrounds.
• Organized and able to prioritize and problem solve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay Range: $140-150k USD.
