Paid Intern - Venues Marketing

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

The Venues Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the efforts of promoting events at Capital One Arena, EagleBank Arena, Monumental Premier and District E. This position will focus on assisting with promotions, marketing efforts, events, and programs. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities:
• Provide support for daily activities, campaigns, and projects.
• Support the department's design needs by creating, resizing, and managing digital assets
• Brainstorm creative and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns with advertising, social media, event messaging, and brand campaigns.
• Manage department's OOH asset rotation.
• Design and update decks with campaign highlights to support marketing recap efforts.
• Coordinate with the Marketing Manager for event responsibilities, event nights, and fan activations (as needed).
• Analyze and track advertising efforts by updating reports, compiling data from all marketing channels.
• Manage venues' website with event details and venue news/updates.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Current undergraduate or graduate student.
• Creative, innovative, resourceful, independent, and upbeat.
• Organized, able to prioritize work and problem solve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Passion for live entertainment, promotions, events and creating experiences.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including grammatical, spelling, and proofreading abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) highly preferred.
• Experience shooting and editing photos/video is a plus.
• Availability to work 20 hours/week from September-May.
• Reliable transportation and housing.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay Rate: $17.95 USD/hour
