The Coordinator, Venue Programs & Administration is responsible for creating, implementing, and continuously improving the employee experience for Capital One Arena team members. This role champions the CREATE (Connect, Recognize, Engage, Anticipate, Thank, Enjoy) culture by leading employee engagement, recognition, and appreciation initiatives while providing administrative and project coordination support for venue-wide programs.

Responsibilities:
• Champion and lead the CREATE Committee, coordinating meetings, initiatives, and cross-department participation.
• Develop and implement employee engagement, recognition, appreciation, and wellness programs for staff.
• Manage the employee recognition platform, tenure awards, milestone celebrations, and recognition initiatives.
• Plan and execute employee events, volunteer opportunities, holiday celebrations, and professional development programs.
• Create and distribute the monthly CREATE newsletter and other internal communications.
• Review guest feedback to identify and recognize outstanding employee service.
• Partner with departments to enhance employee spaces and workplace culture.
• Track engagement metrics, program participation, and budgets while finding opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Research industry trends and best practices to enhance the employee experience.
• Support the venue department heads with cross-functional projects and operational initiatives.
• Coordinate meetings, project timelines, action items, and department communications.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for leadership.
• Track invoices, department purchases, and administrative records.
• Provide administrative support for venue-wide programs and special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 years of experience in employee engagement, hospitality, event planning, project coordination, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); graphic design experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience planning or coordinating events preferred.
• Passion for creating an engaging workplace culture and delivering exceptional employee experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Salary/Benefits
$50,000 - $60,000 /year USD
