The Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for month-end variance analysis, budget and forecast support, preparation and analysis of financial reports, and providing overall support to the MSE Finance Department.
Responsibilities:
• Provide month-end financial statements and variance analysis for all departments.
• Assist with creation of the annual budget including calculation of annual allowable budget, review of budget detail, and compilation of budget exceptions for Executive approval.
• Compile CapEx budget and monthly reporting, tracking spend to budget.
• Lead quarterly re forecast calls and create reporting and analysis of re forecast to provide to Executives.
• Ensure accuracy of monthly financials, identifying and resolving inaccurate GL coding to review with department heads quarterly.
• Assist with maintaining cash forecast for MSE related activities.
• Identify areas for improved reporting, processes and opportunities to provide enhanced support to departments.
• Assist in analysis of financial impact to support potential business decisions.
• Participate in creation of expanded FP&A support.
• Develop strong partnerships with departments to improve communication, accuracy of financials, and reporting needs.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting.
• 10 years of Finance and analytics experience supporting business leaders with compelling, fast and accurate data and analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Tableau is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
