The full-time Changeover Day Crew position is responsible for reconfiguring the arena, its floor and concourses according to specifications for events at the Capital One Arena in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
• Support event conversions through set-up and tear down of equipment including risers, staging, basketball floor, hockey glass, chairs, tables, pipe and drape and other items as needed.
• Perform ice maintenance including Olympia operation, ice edging, painting ice and related tasks.
• Maintain NBA Basket stanchions.
• Support changeover crew in preparing the facility for events and games.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Read and interpret floor plans, design, and layouts to ensure event arrangements meet client requirements.
• Set up, maintain, and break down items for events including flooring, portable chairs, operable walls, barricades, staging, tables and other furnishings and equipment.
• Safely operate equipment including pallet jacks, material handling carts, and dollies to transport items throughout the arena.
• Follow all MSE policies and procedures associated with such programs as risk management, safety, and emergency management.
• Safely use hand tools including a drill, circular saw, and more.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent experience.
1 years of changeover experience in an arena, stadium, or concert hall.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time, kneel, stoop, climb stairs and reach/lift above head.
Able to regularly lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and overnight shifts as needed.
Pay Rate: $24.05/hr USD.
