Located next door to Capital One Arena at 707-709 7th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001, the Benson Gallery will span two floors and over 10,000 square feet showcasing over 150 legendary photographs. The exhibit, which will be free and open to the public, will feature photographs of every president and first lady since Dwight Eisenhower, iconic photographs of athletes including Muhammad Ali, musicians, including a behind the scenes look at The Beatles arrival to the United States, a historic chronicling of the civil rights movement in America, and much more.
The Benson Gallery Host will be responsible for providing guests with a safe and enjoyable experience during their visit to the gallery. The position is public facing and will require regular engagement with visiting guests, MSE staff, and clients through the course of the day.

Responsibilities:
• Provide quality guest service and assistance to clients and guests at the Benson Gallery.
• Greet and welcome guests with a smile and helpful demeanor as they enter the gallery.
• Manage reservation system and check guests in upon arrival.
• Provide information about the gallery to guests.
• Serve as a liaison between guests and MSE Management.
• Work with MSE Management to complete season ticket member and client events in the gallery.
• Assist with gallery events as needed.
• Monitor gallery conditions and work with maintenance and cleaning to ensure that high standards are met.
• Continually strive for new ways to enhance the guest experience.
• Move light furniture as needed.
• Related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience engaging with diverse audiences and providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with peers and management staff.
• Ability to remain in a standing/walking position during shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry 30lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate: $22 USD/hour.
