This is a Part Time Job
The '2024-25 Seasonal Assistant, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for observing, learning, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Partnership Marketing Team for Monumental Sports & Entertainment. This is a temporary position from September 2024 - June 2025, that will work onsite at Capital One Arena approx. 20-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the activation of partnerships across all franchises with majority focus on Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards.
• Assist in tracking proof of performance and metrics for partners to use in recaps and/or partner check-ins.
• Assist in event planning and coordination.
• Game day responsibilities including coordinating game day experiences, taking photos, helping with hospitality questions, ticket questions, meeting fans, promotions, etc.
• Support the overall functionality of the Partnership Marketing team internally, including inventory, storage management, ordering items for activations, etc.
• Work with Partnership Marketing to fulfill digital sweepstakes including but not limited to, messaging winners, delivering or shipping prizes, etc.
• Support team members on the development of creative for renewals, presentations, recap videos, activation videos, etc.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently attending (or recent graduate of) a 4-year Bachelors Degree program, preferably with an emphasis in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and events as assigned.
• Background and hands-on experience in graphic design and layout is a plus.
• Working knowledge of desktop publishing, especially the Microsoft and Adobe Suite.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues.
• Flexible, motivated, and equipped to work in an environment of rapid change.
• Ability to prioritize and meet timelines.
Pay Rate: $17.50 USD/hour.
