Part Time Job
Monument Releasing is seeking a temporary, part-time Digital Marketing and Outreach Assistant to support our team in executing national theatrical campaigns for two award-winning independent films: ''If the Dancer Dances'' and ''Our Time.'' The Assistant reports directly to the Director of Releases and Senior Director of Marketing and Publicity.
The main duties for this position involve creating, organizing, planning, and implementing digital marketing and advertising strategies and materials, as well as assisting with all aspects of coast to coast social media and organizational outreach campaigns for our upcoming film releases. The Assistant will be expected to identify and develop organizational partners as well as maintain film-specific and company social media accounts and websites.
Responsibilities include:
- Target and develop organizational partners throughout the U.S. and Canada to help promote and support film releases
- Manage company and film-specific websites and social media accounts
- Prepare postcards, email-friendly one-sheets for films, and pitch documents for digital platforms
- Aid in the creation and proofing of digital product packaging and marketing
- In consultation with the Senior Director, select key press images, clips, and other elements from the films
- Create additional online and print marketing elements as needed to support in distribution efforts
- Assist the team with promotional activities as needed
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel and Google Docs/Sheets
- Intermediate to expert experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign are strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in social media and/or outreach for an arts/entertainment company or organization
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms and a demonstrated ability to implement these effectively as both brand-building and advertising tools
- Experience with Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut X will be helpful, but is not required
- Strong and professional verbal and written skills with an acute attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently and creatively troubleshoot problems as they arise
- Experience with and interest in independent film is strongly preferred
