How do I hire a Marketing Associate? POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Associate will support the team with a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to social media engagement (Instagram/Facebook/Yelp/YouTube, etc.), planning and analysis. Opportunity to be creative & learn about online marketing in a fantastic, positive, and energetic environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and schedule posts across social media platforms
Monitor and respond to post comments and messages from the client's followers.
Plan and manage a content calendar
Coordinate with client and/or marketing team to ensure the content aligns with company campaigns, brand messaging and values.
Stay abreast of changes, trends and regulations for each social media platform
Research trending and most relevant hashtags
Identify accounts to follow and engage
Assess and report post performance results
Reevaluate strategy and adjust if necessary for optimal performance
Create and manage ads and boosted posts
Coordinate and plan with team to support content needs
Develop and manage giveaways and promotions to boost our programs
Monthly meeting to discuss content calendar
Weekly communication with the team members involved via email/IM/preferred channel
Requirements
Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, YouTube
Working knowledge and real-world experience in managing, strategizing, and executing social media initiatives
Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
Ability to be creative and engaging in writing, editing and crafting content for the social media space
Knowledge of social media legal guidelines,
Ability to work well across the team to accomplish marketing initiatives
Someone involved and experienced in but not limited to the dance world is preferred
This person is serious about pursuing a later career in social media and online marketingUndergraduate student majoring in Sales, Communication, Marketing, or Advertising (other majors may be considered on a case by case basis)
