Busy Talent Management office is seeking Multi-Faceted Assistant to assist two managers, track client activities, and coordinate daily administrative tasks.

MKS&D is a boutique talent management firm with Managers in Los Angeles and New York City. We represent actors and creative talent in the fields of motion pictures, television and theatre. With over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry, we are dedicated to achieving both the professional and personal goals of our clients.
About this position:
The manager's assistant will assist managers on both coasts with talent related inquiries and issues, as well as oversee administrative duties. We are a small office, so this position will have their hands in multiple different areas and responsibilities. Ideal for someone with 1-2 years of previous work experience in an entertainment office.
This is a full time position, and we are looking to hire someone this week. This position is for non-actors. If you have any performance aspirations, please do not apply. This position is remote for the foreseeable future, and we operate on Eastern Standard Time.
The salary is approx. 38K/year (including overtime) and the position has the potential to grow as the company grows. Benefits include paid sick days, paid personal days, generous medical plan (requires employee contributions) and long-term disability plan as well as paid vacation days starting in the second year of employment.
We are looking for a person who is great at multi-tasking, takes initiative and is independent, and is a real go-getter. Someone who is warm and hospitable with clients and has strong interpersonal skills. Must also have strong technical skills (video editing, navigating different talent software, website editing and blog posting) and a high sense of industry etiquette.
Responsibilities include:
-Assisting the managers with high email volume and external inquiries.
-Assisting clients with questions and technical problems.
-Communicating efficiently and professionally via phone and email with other industry professionals, such as Agents, Casting Directors, and PR.
-Reading scenes with actors and editing their auditions in iMovie.
-Basic Knowledge of digital photo editing and editing footage in iMovie.
-Drafting and emailing external and internal communications
-Writing blog posts/maintaining the company website
-Ordering office supplies
Candidate qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree preferred but extensive computer experience is most important
-Knowledge of Apple computers, Dropbox, Outlook and Zoom
-Basic knowledge of digital photo and video editing such as iMovie
-Basic IT knowledge and a positive attitude to problem solve
-Strong writing skills and impeccable email correspondence
-Strong organizational skills and able to maintain multiple different lists and tracking documents
-Excellent client services skills in person, on the phone and via email. A friendly and approachable demeanor!
