This is a Part Time Job
GENERAL PURPOSE
• Assist with daily office operations.
MAJOR JOB OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• General office coordination:
• Dealing with packages and incoming mail
• Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies, snacks, drinks, etc., and restocking as needed
• Watering plants
• Overseeing clerical tasks, such as receiving and sending mail
• Filtering and distributing incoming office mail in a timely manner
• Keep the office space clean, stocked, and organized throughout the kitchen, conference room, and communal areas
• Serving as first POC for guests and the building facilities
• Organizing office events on an as-needed basis, ordering food/drinks/party supplies (partner with Celebration committee)
• Tech set up for the teams in meeting/conference rooms for all agency meetings, scanners, printers, etc (partner with IT)
• Internal support across the agency
• Various other tasks as they may arise
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Work Experience:
• Proven experience as a of assistant or in another relevant administrative role
• Working knowledge of office equipment
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
• Flexibility and the ability to prioritize with diligence as tasks come in
• Proficiency with Google Drive a plus
• Exceptional people and communication skills
• Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service attitude demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
• No task is too big or too small kind of attitude
• Must be able to move 50lbs, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time
• A positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a passion for your work (we love what we do and have fun doing it!)
• Comfortable being around dogs; we are a dog friendly agency!
