Digital Marketing Coordinator May 2018
Missing Piece Group is a full-service music company: a marketing and publicity agency, management company and record label.
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our crew and work on a range of great artist, album and label campaigns. Position is full-time, either in Newark, NJ or Nashville, TN. The team member will help develop and implement online marketing and social media strategies, initiatives and campaigns for a range of musicians, labels, publishers and more.
Responsibilities:
- Research & promotion to online influencers:
o 3rd party playlisters on Youtube & Spotify playlisters & programming team
o Social media influencers & brands
o Promotional outreach to editorial & programming teams with digital streaming & video accounts
- Social media / digital research & analysis on client projects
o Analysis, optimization and best practices consulting for all client online channels
o Client CRM management, social metrics & reporting
- MPG social media communication
o Facebook / Twitter / Instagram - ongoing posting o Ongoing Spotify playlisting and outreach
o MPG Website & social front-end posting, tracking & analysis
- Campaign setup and management
o Gather / onboarding client assets
o Lead overall department reporting efforts
- Campaign / label management on select projects
- Interface with client and artists to ensure setup and delivery of all release assets
- Coordinate / manage internal & external team members
- Overall tracking and reporting
o Social / digital growth for client campaigns o Promotion / streaming outreach and results
o Press and media as needed
- Client social channel management
o Map out & implement overall content timeline o Maintain/post ongoing content stream
o Optimize content elements per specific network requirements
Position requirements
- Innate understanding of social and digital channels
- Experience (internship / starting) within music media, management, record label marketing, or related
- Compelling and creative online voice
- Some familiarity with digital tracking tools:
o Next Big Sound
o Youtube & Google metrics
o Spotify, BuzzAngle, commercial & streaming reporting
o Native app analysis
- Optional skills: content development & production
o Graphic design
o Audio / video - podcast, basic video editing, etc
Salary / position commensurate with experience
