Responsibilities
• Oversee the preparation and review of the federal, state and foreign income tax returns
• Supervise the preparation and review of sales and use tax returns, property tax returns, gross receipts returns and other non-income tax returns
• Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly estimated tax payments
• Manage income and sales tax audits including the preparation of responses to inquiries from tax authorities
• Assist with coordinating VAT/GST payments and related issues
• Assist with the annual tax provision calculations
• Assist with the accrual for uncertain tax positions
• Coordinate the preparation of transfer pricing studies
• Analyze and review inter-company transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy
Requirements
• 7-10 years of professional experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities for this role
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, with cross functional teams, upper management, and outside consultants, while at the same time able to work independently to resolve tax issues
• Strong foundation of tax technical knowledge with experience evaluating and advising on business initiatives
• Strong organizational, effective time management and prioritization skills in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
