SUMMARY
The SAP FICO Functional Manager is responsible for evaluating business objectives and offering best practice solutions on how to improve the business efficiency with the use of technology. They will act as a bridge between business (which owns requirements) and technology (software) in an effort to meet business objectives, as well as, support and maintain existing application and development of new solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist user with understanding system capabilities
• Advise on SAP best practice
• Analyze business needs presented by the user community and recommend solutions
• Gather and document business requirements from business users and subject matter experts and translate into functional specification documents
• Understand as-is business processes in order to effectively identify and document the to-be requirements
• Identify root cause(s) of an issue in order to help determine the optimal solution
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing of new solutions
• Define test scenarios and create test scripts
• Perform business needs analysis and design workflows, including “as is” and “to be” process mapping
• Collect timely feedback from stakeholder groups and ensure terms of requirements and specifications are being met through solutions being built
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience with SAP FICO (ECC 6.0 EhP8)
• Experience with two or more SAP FICO modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Purchasing
• Strong understanding of SAP
• Experience in business process improvement efforts
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to work with users and implement system solutions
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Takes initiative and demonstrates resourcefulness
• Verbal and Written communication skills
• Strong business acumen
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, or related systems is a plus
