Intern - Marketing

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

Miramax Films is seeking responsible, motivated students who are interested in learning about the inner workings of an influential film company. Interns will be given exposure to special projects and general office functions dependent upon individual departments. Interns must be available for a minimum of two days or 16 hours per week. There are positions available in the following departments:

MARKETING
The marketing department is responsible for the creation, distribution, and placement of all marketing materials to promote our yearly slate of films. An internship with the marketing departments allows for an intern to gain an understanding of how strategies are developed to market feature films and how creative materials are produced and executed in order to support those strategies.
Duties typically include:
• Assembling weekly media packets with articles and posters for distribution to departments.
• Updating the competitive production calendar and marketing plan records for upcoming releases.
• Assistance with trafficking of print and online creative materials.
• Researching competitive marketing campaigns.
• General office duties.
