Minor Performer Alliance is seeking a social media & marketing intern to help us build awareness, hone our brand and design our social media and email marketing strategies. This opportunity will provide significant hands on experience and decision making. You will be an active member of our meetings - contributing, analyzing and synthesizing with our team as we roll out our online marketing presence.
Minor Performer Alliance is a non-profit whose mission is to educate, provide resources for and ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of children in the entertainment industry. We staff studio teachers for productions, obtain work permits for minors and consult on labor law with parents and productions. This summer we will be developing and launching initiatives in mental health, academics and career success to help support minor performers in new ways.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Passionate about youth advocacy, entertainment, or nonprofit work
Strong written communication skills and a flair for storytelling
Familiar with major social platforms and social scheduling tools (teach us!)
Comfortable using Canva or other basic design software
Organized, self-motivated, and collaborative
Experience with video editing, TikTok, Instagram or short-form content
