We are an entertainment based non profit organization seeking an entry level executive assistant to support the Executive Director. Our mission is to ensure the welfare, safety and education of minors in the entertainment industry. We provide child labor law consultation, studio teachers for Film and TV sets, and permits for child performers and production companies employing minors.
While this position is entry level it is designed to grow into a full time position with benefits
This role is remote, but the ideal candidate lives in or near Los Angeles, CA Duties will include:
Teacher Scheduling
Teacher Communication
Email management
Client communication
Invoicing
Data management
Record keeping
The main factor for determining success in this role is organization. Candidate MUST be highly organized. Familiar with spreadsheets and comfortable juggling multiple schedules and files. Other ideal characteristics include:
Strong communication skills
Prompt email responsiveness
Flexibility and adaptability
Easy going
Able to learn unique workflow quickly
Familiarity with Google drive (sheets and docs)
Proactivity, drive and confidence
This job is ideal for a new (or soon to be) graduate looking to make a career in the film industry. Starting rate is $17/hour with an average of 10-20 hours per week, but the role is designed specifically to grow into a full time position with benefits for the right candidate. We are hiring this position ASAP.
