Position Summary:
The Owned Marketing Assistant is responsible for various tasks relating to fan engagement, team promotion, and driving revenue through marketing efforts. The primary responsibility is to support the marketing department and assist with executing strategies that enhance the club's brand image and attract fans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write copy for owned marketing channels and communications, including but not limited to push notifications, web, email, etc.
• Collaborate to make content and user experience updates across both web and mobile app.
• Help update reporting for owned marketing channels (email, web, app, etc.)
• Manage mobile gaming programs while assisting with prize redemption.
• Manage, set up, and roll out Ballpark App check-in offers.
• Assist with updating social media and owned marketing content calendar.
• Support marketing projects throughout the year - including owned media assets around TwinsFest, Spring Training, All-Star Voting, and other tent pole events.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirement Experience and Education:
• 1-3 years of marketing, social media, journalism, or similar experience (internship and college experience accepted).
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Creative storyteller who is organized, task-focused, and a clear communicator.
• Proven writing experience with portfolio examples (headlines, subject lines, etc. is preferred but not required).
• Advanced experience working with a Content Calendar.
• Entry level experience with Project Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work most of this position during core business hours (9 AM - 5 PM); no consistent game day duties are assigned to this role.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday.
• Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer, keyboard, and telephone.
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, dining room, etc.
This is a part-time position that will work an average of 32 hours per week.
