Position Summary:
The Minnesota Twins are seeking a Director of Creative Productions & Content with a track record of high-quality, high-impact content creation and deep understanding of, and passion for, baseball. This individual will be able to work collaboratively with the content team to efficiently and effectively produce compelling video and graphic content for in-game entertainment, social media, external advertising campaigns, internal departments, and other related productions. This position will work heavily both on remote field locations as well as in edit to develop and produce high profile long and short-form digital content. This position will manage a staff and give direction as they see fit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with leadership in strategic planning and execution to deliver industry-leading video and graphic content in support of team marketing campaigns on social media and other digital platforms, in-game entertainment, communications, and player initiatives.
• Partner with marketing leadership on the creative vision of the Minnesota Twins brand.
• Develop short-and long term-strategies for and oversee execution of, Twins digital production across multiple mediums and targeted range of audiences for the purpose of revenue generation and overall marketing of the organization.
• Effectively manage the content team by providing direction, creating alignment, and fostering development.
• Conceive, write, produce, shoot, and edit original content (both short-and long-form) on a daily basis for the digital media space, including social media platforms and special projects, while helping shape the direction of social media content.
• Work with the Project Manager to schedule videographers, photographers, and designers as necessary to execute productions and effectively cover team functions, such as games, community events, and other business-related initiatives.
• Oversee and conduct field shoots and produce interviews as assigned.
• Tell creative, visual stories that connect the community to the franchise, engage and excite existing fans, and entice new ones.
• Lead brainstorming/conceptual discussions to share new content ideas and perspectives.
• Find new ways to capture and share video content for the purpose of growing the Twins brand.
• Manage content team in archiving cinematic footage through proper labeling.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with department Vice Presidents to ensure that all content communicates the desired message, while successfully balancing and executing a multitude of simultaneous projects with a dynamic environment.
• Conduct yearly reviews and manage department budget.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree required. Communications, Broadcast Journalism or related major is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role in the sports industry.
• Knowledge of various post-production shooting and editing techniques, including extensive knowledge in cinematic/DSLR cameras, Adobe Creative Suite, Lighting, and other industry standard post-production equipment.
• Knowledge of motion design and relevant production software including After Effects and Photoshop.
• The ability to effectively act in a leadership capacity.
• Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Creative writing ability is essential.
• Strong planning, organization, administrative and time management skills.
• Confident in presenting work with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong baseball knowledge is preferred; general baseball knowledge is required.
• Ability to occasionally travel domestically and internationally.
• Must be willing to work long hours and weekends, as this position will attend most home games and can often have projects that don't fall during normal business hours.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in different weather elements, including colder and warmer temperatures.
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times.
