Position Summary:
The Associate, Target Field Events is responsible for supporting the day-to-day and general operations of the Target Field Events (TFE) department. This role is an office-focused role supporting both the Sales and Service teams of Target Field Events. This position will work standard hours, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Opportunity to support Events as needed, but not required as part of this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Manager of Event Services and Event Sales, and Director, Target Field Events with day-to-day department operations, including but not limited to:
• Scheduling of Guest Services and Event Changeover staff on ABI.
• Invoicing and payment tracking for Private Events and incurred event expenses.
• Maintain database of required Certification of Insurance for Private Events at Target Field, including collecting new certificates as required.
• Distribution of event materials and information to the organization and associated Business Partners.
• Support in the creation and distribution of sales collateral, proposals, Target Field Use Agreements, event orders and more.
• Execute upon social media campaigns and content on Target Field Events platforms and maintain Target Field Events website.
• Support with Target Field Events email campaigns and outbound communications.
• Manage internal Target Field Events department processes and communications, including maintaining internal request form, distribution of Event Orders and invoicing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Experience and Education:
• Knowledge or interest in event planning, management, and/or sales experience at a convention center, hotel, or public meeting facility or related industry.
• Experience working in a fast paced, office environment.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Software knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Meta/Social Media Platforms. Knowledge of Infor Sales & Event Management and AllSeated are a plus.

• Excellent organizational skills and a self-started who is motivated to help the team succeed.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, detail oriented, strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize projects in a team-based environment.
• Experience with project management and scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to be creative, resourceful, and dependable.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with limited supervision.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a seated position for the majority of workday.
• Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer, keyboard, and telephone.
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, dining room, etc.
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling.
This is a part-time, benefit eligible position that will average 30 hours per week.
