Overview

As part of the Movement Solutions Department, the Associate – Movement Solutions will directly contribute to the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club's (MBBC) application of baseball sports science, biomechanics, and performance principles. This position will work closely with the Player Development (on-field staff) and High-Performance staff, including but not limited to Athlete Availability, Performance Psychology, Player Health, Player Performance, Training Design.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in day-to-day operations of Movement Solutions programs across the organization as it pertains to equipment functionality, data collection, data processing, and data analysis.
• Assist in design, development, and implementation of novel research protocols using various applied research technologies to assess and develop elite-level baseball talent.
• Collaborate with other departments (High Performance, Player Development, Scouting, Technology Operations, etc.) to translate and apply research findings into programs/applications aimed at improving player performance and talent identification.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree (M.S.) from a four-year college or university in Exercise Science (Biomechanics) or closely related field. Proficient utilizing biomechanical equipment (e.g., Motion Capture, Force Plates, EMG, IMUs), and biomechanical analysis (Kinetics, Kinematics, Musculoskeletal Modeling).
