Overview
As part of Helfaer Field, the American Family Field Event Staff will assist with all non-Brewers Baseball game events and activities taking place at Helfaer Field (youth baseball facility) and inside/outside of American Family Field. Depending on the event, this position may also act as Brewers liaison and point of contact for clients and guests.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Meet with coaches and teams to communicate and enforce facility rules, procedures, expectations, and safety policies
• Assist volunteers with the setup and proper operation of audio and scoreboard equipment
• Set up, break down, and maintain event equipment, including bases, pitching rubbers, tables, stools, umbrellas, and audio/scoreboard systems
• Monitor crowd behavior and guest access to ensure a safe, welcoming, and fan-friendly environment
• Enforce the Helfaer Field Code of Conduct and all applicable facility policies and procedures
• Execute event requirements in accordance with the Helfaer Field event checklist
• Provide information, assistance, and customer service to clients and guests throughout the venue
• Communicate and coordinate event needs and timing with Grounds Crew, concessions, Event Services, parking, cleaning, and catering staff
The ideal candidate will have 6-12 months of experience in related field, as well as live in the Milwaukee area for the duration of the season (April-October). The ideal candidate will also have a high school diploma or GED.
