Office Production Assistant - Miami Local
MTP, Inc. is seeking a remote Office PA on a part-time contract basis. The successful candidate will provide hands-on support in the business office. This position requires a strong customer service orientation and will complete daily scheduling and administrative business functions of a production studio. Duties include answer phones, make copies of scripts, run errands, and do any other administrative task the staff requires. Must have valid driver's license and be local to Miami.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Provide support and work closely with department personnel in all aspects of logistical, operational and production coordination as assigned
· Assist with the maintenance and organization of digital media assets and documentation for equipment and software
· Assist with administrative tasks such as creating basic tracking spreadsheets
· Run errands for production company (Send/pick-up packages, fax documents etc.)
· Work effectively with staff, clients and other vendors to provide these services and ensure impeccable customer service
· Work in the most proactive, creative and professional manner to provide the highest level of service to our clients
· Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
· Excellent customer service and resource management skills; proactive and responsive
· Must demonstrate firm understanding of the entire video production process
· Demonstrated ability to embrace and apply current and new technologies
· A positive and proactive attitude and a willingness to jump in and help
· Basic math and computation skills; extreme attention to detail required
· Well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to maintain high level of professionalism in a corporate environment
· Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people including team personnel, clients and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationships
· Proficiency in Google Eco System (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar etc.), Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Must be able to create and format spreadsheets, apply functions & formulas, merge & sort data
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in a live program environment
Education & Experience
· 1+ year video production experience (corporate video preferred, digital media, or broadcast)
· 1+ year office administration, finance, accounting experience or communications role
