Michael Fiore Films is seeking a visual effects artist/assistant editor for an independent feature-length documentary following the life and career of legendary animator and story artist Floyd Norman. Mr. Norman is the undisputed ''Forrest Gump'' of the animation world. Hired as the first African-American at Disney in 1956, he led an exciting career that also included producing black history films for high schools, animating the opening graphic sequence for ''Soul Train,'' animating at Hanna Barbera and later at Pixar with Steve Jobs on ''Toy Story 2'' and ''Monsters Inc.''
Position Responsibilities include:
-start date of Sunday, September 20th for a 30 day period
-comps of foreground/background plates
-title creation (LTs)
