This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Position Summary:
The Video Intern will support the Miami Marlins video production efforts across multiple departments. This role is designed for hardworking, motivated individuals who want hands-on experience in the sports industry while building their skills in filming, editing, and content creation. The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The person selected for this position is expected to complete a 10-month internship program from January 26th, 2026 - October 30th, 2026. You must be available during this time frame.
Essential Functions:
• Assist with video production from concept through completion, including filming, editing, and delivering content that supports business objectives.
• Support video needs across all departments (Marketing, Foundation, Partnerships, Sales, Game Presentation, Human Resources, etc.).
• Operate camera equipment and related gear to capture high-quality footage in a variety of settings.
• Work collaboratively with the video and creative services teams to execute projects that meet brand standards and deadlines.
• Adapt quickly to feedback and apply direction to improve production quality.
• Maintain organization of video assets, projects, and equipment to ensure efficient workflows.
• Be proactive in identifying opportunities to assist with shoots, edits, and other production needs.
• Provide support for game day and event coverage and be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Working knowledge of camera equipment, filming techniques, and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred).
• Strong interest in sports and live event production, with a desire to build a career in the industry.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback well and apply it effectively.
• Reliable, hardworking, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and game days as needed.
