Position Summary
As a Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring strength and conditioning programs for players at one of the minor league affiliates. This role involves implementing organizational strength and conditioning philosophies, delivering daily force, power, speed and capacity development sessions to optimize player performance. Collaboration, adaptability, and a development-focused mindset are essential for success in this position.
Essential Functions
• Collaborate with the Director of Strength and Conditioning, Player Development, R&D, and front office staff to align training systems with organizational vision.
• Design and implement individualized force, power, speed, and capacity programs tailored to each player's physical profile and developmental stage.
• Assist in rehabilitation and return-to-play programming in coordination with the medical team.
• Utilize performance data and technology to monitor, evaluate, and adjust training plans.
• Track player progress in the off-season and maintain consistent communication with players and staff.
• Participate in off-season instructional camps as needed for continued staff development and player preparation.

Skill Requirements
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement high-level physical development programs.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring technologies and best practices in athletic development.
• Ability to collaborate across departments including medical, player development, and sport science.
• Strong understanding of baseball-specific strength, power, and movement demands.
• Experience supporting return-to-play processes in collaboration with medical professionals.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Education & Experience Guidelines
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field required.
• CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a strength and conditioning role, preferably in professional or collegiate sports.
Work Environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods, including in outdoor environments.
