Position Summary:
The Manager, Inside Sales primarily focuses of managing a team of entry-level sales executives and maintaining a focus on revenue generation through the sale of season ticket memberships, group tickets and premium seating. This position will receive supervision from the VP, Ticket Sales & Services with the expectation to train, manage and monitor the professional growth and sales success of the Sales Executives.
Essential Functions:
• Exceed annual revenue goals
• Recruit, hire, train and coach Sales Executives
• Monitor Sales Executives daily, weekly, and monthly activities
• Attend appointments weekly with Sales Executives
• Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
• Works closely with Marketing and Business Analytics Teams to align sales and marketing campaigns to generate revenue
• Coaches and trains Sales Executives to best use Marlins sales technology stack to improve sales efficiencies
• Conduct weekly one on one meetings with Sales Executives to review sales activity
• Work scheduled shifts during Marlins home games and other loanDepot park scheduled events
• Mentor Account Executives to become future sales leaders
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Qualifications & Requirements:
• Proven ability to train new sales executives
• Proven record of sales achievements in B2C, B2B and Account Management
• Strong organizational, time-management, excellent oral and written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Individuals must be comfortable making face to face sales presentations
• Ability to relate to different personalities and motivate each sales executive
• Career driven individual with a strong desire to learn and grow as a leader
• Proficient computer skills required (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
• Strong customer services skills required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
• College Degree – Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales primarily sports
