Part Time Unpaid Internship
Description of the Position: The C&E Graphic Design and Training intern will work with and through the leadership team of Culture & Engagement (C&E) to support the cultural transformation, as well as the organizational and professional development needs of The Heat Group and AmericanAirlines Arena personnel. The C&E Intern will play an integral role in supporting Employee Engagement surveys, FT and PT On-boarding, and utilizing professional development mediums to acquire O&D intelligence to be used as content in C&E programs. Additionally, the Graphic Coordinator will support C&E leadership to assist in designing and developing multiple formats of learning solutions that align with the organization's business and cultural objectives and strategies. The C&E Intern will support a variety of administrative, professional, technical responsibilities and partner with the Manager of C&E to coordinate and execute special events (i.e. MVP celebrations, Prime Time Service Awards, PPA's, etc.). As required by the Sports and Entertainment industry, the C&E Intern will regularly be scheduled to work nights, weekends and holidays. Essential functions of this internship include but are not limited to:
ADMINISTRATIVE
• Assists in coordinating logistics for on-site professional development sessions, including securing appropriate space, acquiring necessary materials, room set-up and break down, F&B when required, etc.
• Assists in determining C&E supply needs and orders, receives and stocks supplies.
• Schedule, coordinate, participate and record minutes for meetings.
• Collect, compile and document pertinent data to be used in Month End reports, weekly and yearly recap meetings.
• Perform clerical functions as needed for C&E (i.e. compose emails, letters, Outlook calendar invites, etc.
FACILITATION
• Represent C&E as one of the voices to New Hires during their on-boarding Meet & Greets.
• Participate in game/event day pre-shift briefings to reinforce Elevate messaging, recognize and educate staff.
Graphic Design
• Meet with Sr. Manager to determine the scope of a project.
• Advise Sr. Manager on strategies to reach a particular audience.
• Determine the message the design should portray.
• Create images that identify a product or convey a message.
• Develop graphics for project illustrations, logos, and websites.
• Select colors, images, text style, and layout.
• Present the design to Sr. Manager.
• Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design.
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
Proficient in Adobe Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, Premier Pro, Cinema 4D
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and multi-media presentations. Must have a passion for adult learning and a mindset that culture is paramount to organizational success. Ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and possess the ability and confidence to excel at public speaking and graphic design.
