Full Time Job
Description of the Job:
• Drive organizational awareness of BI capabilities and available information through data literacy.
• Lead the development of analyses, processes, and reporting that deliver actionable business insights.
• Partner with business leaders to identify key opportunities, address critical data-related business challenges, and establish standard operating procedures for leveraging data to drive revenue.
• Formalize, scale and oversee enterprise-wide BI governance and master data management processes and initiatives.
• Provide business departments with ad-hoc analytics support and standardize service level protocols and operating procedures.
• Monitor and identify trends or changes in the market or industry that may affect business strategy.
• Manage surveying initiatives including the building, execution and analysis of online surveys.
Skills
Experience:
• Proven track record in evangelizing data education and transforming organizations into data-driven decision makers.
• Solid background with managing documentation libraries, data dictionaries, roadmaps and other tools for user consumption.
• Advance experience using and administrating a Business Intelligence visualization tool / server. Tableau or Power BI. Power BI strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding and experience in visualization / dashboard development best practices.
• Demonstrate experience in data mining techniques and knowledge and understanding of core data warehousing / database terminology. Strong SQL knowledge a must. MDX / DAX preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Extensive stakeholder management and communications at senior leadership level.
• Available to work nights and weekends as necessary.
• Ability to learn, unlearn, re-learn emerging technologies, and quickly adapt and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
5 years of progressive responsibility in data analysis and analytics in a business or data warehousing environment. 3 years in a full-time data services leadership role managing a team of analysts in an agile environment. Bachelor's Degree required with emphasis in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Computer Science; master's degree or MBA preferred.
