Fall Intern - Artist Management

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Internship Description:
If you are interested in the music industry and gaining hands-on experience in client management, Mezz Entertainment's internship in Artist Management and Promotion is a great opportunity for you. Through our internship program, students will gain hands-on experience managing and promoting clients for interviews, shows, and press. Interns will work remotely for the duration of the internship with three weekly teleconference meetings as well as daily communication.

Interns will:
-Promote artists to radios, podcasts, and blogs
-Book artists for shows
-Write artist biographies and promotion material
-Develop and maintain contacts throughout music and entertainment industry
-Effectively research and pitch artists to ideal platforms

Qualifications and Requirements:
-Knowledge and experience with social media a must
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong research skills
-Self directed independent workers with unmatched work ethics who enjoy being a part of a team
-Hold degree or currently pursuing degree in marketing, PR, communications, music business, or similar field
-Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
-Plan to pursue a career in music/entertainment industry or public relations

Time Commitment and Location:
This internship program requires a 15 hour per week commitment with start and end dates based on school schedule. Artist Management Interns will attend three weekly meetings over Zoom on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. EST, Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m. EST, and Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. EST. Tuesday and Thursday meetings last 1-2 hours, and all other days are 45 minutes max. *Please ensure you can attend these meeting times prior to applying.
