Development Assistant, Mgm Television
MGM Television, the longstanding semi-independent division of Amazon MGM Studios responsible for shows like Wednesday and Fargo, has an immediate opening for a Development Assistant.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a deep understanding of the entertainment industry. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage complex calendars and schedules with precision, and a passion for film and inclusive storytelling.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting senior-level executives, ideally in film, television, or a related media environment. They will be self-motivated, resourceful and able to anticipate needs and act with a high degree of autonomy. This person will also uphold a high bar for confidentiality and professionalism.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage complex and dynamic executive calendar including meetings, travel and events.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones with high attention to detail.
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables.
• Organize and maintain files, documents and confidential materials.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents.
• Provide coverage on incoming script submissions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, key players, and current events.
• Supply administrative support for Senior Executive on team, including managing incoming calls, helping to coordinate schedule, travel and expenses.
Qualifications
• Experience with executive level calendar management
• Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products
• 2 years of professional experience
Qualifications
• 2 years of professional or military experience
• 1 years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Are 18 years of age or older
